Intranet Portal:Leaders' Stories
We are expanding the scope of our efforts to foster One DS Culture, which started from FY2021, from leaders to all employees. Specifically, in parallel with leaders cascading what they have learned in a series of culture workshops to their own organizations, they are working with Culture Ambassadors appointed in each organization to implement culture activation plans formulated by leaders at their own organizations. With an emphasis on communication to employees, we are actively disseminating information through our intranet website for global culture initiatives, which includes an overview of this initiative, storytelling videos of leaders, sharing of initiatives in each region, and digital materials such as logos available for download.
Future Prospects
Fostering One DS Culture is an important initiative as one of the strategic pillars of the 5th Mid-Term Management Plan, and we will implement a variety of activities to achieve our goals by FY2025.
Until now, our activities have been mainly online due to the pandemic, but we will continue to foster the One DS Culture more effectively and efficiently by conducting face-to-face activities while we monitor how the pandemic evolves.
In order to measure the degree of fostering One DS Culture and the successful embedding of Core Behaviors, we conducted a global common engagement survey (One DS Voice) for the first time in FY2021. We will continue to conduct the engagement survey on a regular basis, and using the results of FY2021 as a baseline, we will implement more optimal initiatives as part of the Global Culture Initiative while observing changes in the survey results over time.
