Support for the Florence Nightingale Medal Program

The Japanese Red Cross Society awards the Florence Nightingale Medal to exceptional nurses once every two years. Daiichi Sankyo offers support in providing this medal, which is seen as the highest honor in the nursing world. In fiscal year 2022, 37 people from 22 countries and regions received the award, including three from Japan.

Support for health awareness activities in Shanghai

Since fiscal year 2014, Daiichi Sankyo (China) Holdings Co., Ltd. has been providing support for health knowledge awareness activities for the general public carried out by resident physicians from hospitals in the Shanghai region. In fiscal year 2022, 27 hospitals in Shanghai implemented such activities. Each hospital conducted a variety of health knowledge awareness activities each month, either online or on-site, involving approximately 1,000 physicians over 324 lectures. Employees from Daiichi Sankyo (China) also participate as volunteers.
